I started with Dr. Kanwal in May 2021. She was recommended by my doctor to help me with my nutritional needs to help with my diabetes. From the very first meeting until our last meeting, and in between, she was very helpful and responsive. She's very good at explaining how your body reacts to certain types of foods and the types of foods one should be eating based on their medical issue. Of course a lot of us probably know how to eat healthy, but after listening to Dr. Kanwal, I really understood the benefits of certain types of foods. She's very knowledgeable about nutrition. What I like about working with her, is that I wasn't put on a regimented, strict plan (because that's when I fail), she made recommendations of what I should be eating, and even sent recipes for some ideas. Also, she recommends vitamins that should help with your journey. I've lost 20 lbs since starting with her, and I do feel better. I have a ways to go, but the pain that I was experiencing before starting with Dr. Kanwal has been very minimal due to the changes in my diet. Thank You, Dr. K!

I began my weight loss journey with Dr. Mansur in January 2023 mainly because I was pre-diabetic and needed to take a look at my health. I took the prescribed supplements and did daily exercises, mostly walking up to 10K steps a day. In addition I ate healthy meals monitoring portion size, carbs, fat, and sugars. All combined efforts I lost 25 lbs and will continue until I reach my goal. Losing the extra weight, I am able to move around better, more flexible, and my blood pressure and cholesterol went back to normal and my sugar is getting under control, plus I feel great, I look better, my clothes fit better. Went down several clothing sizes. Best thing I have done for myself and self esteem/health.

Once I decided that I was tired of feeling lousy every day and put my health first, I asked my doctor to recommend a nutritionist for me. He recommended that I meet with Kanwal, who has been a blessing to me since I have met her. She has truly changed my life for the better. She made it very easy to transition into a healthier lifestyle by encouraging to me make small changes every two weeks and providing insight into how different foods and vitamins can affect my body, mood, and energy. Making these small changes to my lifestyle and the way that I think about food has delivered instant results for me. I immediately began to feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally. Soon after, I began losing weight and feeling less stressed. Once I saw the results, I was motivated to keep going. She has made my wellness journey easy to maintain long-term. What I also like about Kanwal is that she doesn't judge me when I fall short of a goal or indulge in something that I probably shouldn't. She is very encouraging and provides strategies on how to overcome those old habits. Kanwal also takes a lot of time to understand my health issues and tries to find new ways to address those issues that will work for my lifestyle. She is very passionate about her work and ensuring that I am able to reach my short-term and long-term health goals, which always leaves me motivated to keep going and not give up on this journey. I am continuously losing weight each month, my blood pressure is down, my migraines are gone, I'm sleeping better, and my confidence has improved significantly. Anytime someone notices that I am slimming down and curious to know how, I tell them about Kanwal.

Four months ago I was pushing 300 lbs, I had difficulty sleeping and I was on 12 medications. Now I am down to 255 lbs I have stopped taking my blood pressure medicine and my BP is 120/70 on average. I am about to stop taking statins if my blood work shows a reduction in LDL cholesterol. I am still losing weight, I am exercising every day and I am slowly coming off as many medications as I can. I feel much better, I have less lower-back pain and I have had to start purchasing a new wardrobe as my clothes no longer fit.
I owe this to Dr Mansur. I followed her advice to the largest extent I could (nobody's perfect) and the results speak for themselves. I suppose the message here is Dr Mansur knows what she is doing, she can advise you on what and how to eat healthy, but she cannot make you do it. You still have to listen and do the work -- nobody can do it for you.
My life is much improved, my only regret is not starting this sooner. Thank you Doctor M.

It’s been a pleasure working with Dr. Mansur. I started off January 2023 with a high cholesterol reading of 230 and a 5.7 A1C reading. Within 3 sessions, incorporating healthy eating habits and exercising I was able to reduce my cholesterol level to 202, my A1C to 5.6, out of the Pre-diabetic range and lost some weight. I now understand the benefits of incorporating certain types of food such as avocados, increasing my fiber and changing the oils I cooked with. I’m reading the back of labels more focusing on the amount of carbs, sugar, trans fat, etc. and selecting items under a certain range. With Dr. Mansurs’ guidance this lifestyle change is obtainable and enjoyable. I highly recommend.
